The initial Santas are adapted from Vermillion's Sudberry House leaflet "Alphabet Soup" (2005) - the 'E' Santa is as charted (except for the floss colours), but I changed the 'G' Santa to make it the same as the 'E' one (the two little girls I stitched them for are sisters, and right now they do like to have exactly the same as each other).

Two small finishes
The initial Santas are adapted from Vermillion's Sudberry House leaflet "Alphabet Soup" (2005) - the 'E' Santa is as charted (except for the floss colours), but I changed the 'G' Santa to make it the same as the 'E' one (the two little girls I stitched them for are sisters, and right now they do like to have exactly the same as each other).
Lucky sisters, I am sure they will enjoy these next Christmas. I was wondering how large they are.
ReplyDeleteThe completed ornaments are about 7.5cm long and 6 cm wide, Susie. I've stitched quite a few letters from this Santa alphabet over the years, and each time I stitch one I am amazed at the detail in such a small design - it's loaded with fractional stitches and so many floss changes in tiny stitching areas!
