Children's Corner

I have lots of children visiting my house in December, and most of the house is a no-touch zone. So I have a collection of soft Santas, decorations, ornaments, games and books that children can pull out and play with. When there are no children visiting these things are housed in the Children's Corner. but as soon as children arrive, the big stockingfilled with Christmas soft-toys, the toy basket and whatever else the children fancy come out into the lounge room to be played with. The clock isn't one of the playthings - it's very precious to me!

  1. Goodness, so many lovely Christmas rooms, I love it. And who can live without a wonderful gingerbread aroma for Christmas, oh yeah!

Popping in to see if you've decided on your Christmas SAL design and check out progress on St. Nick, how is he doing?

  2. Oh, my poor Santa is feeling very neglected! I'm about 3/4 way through page 8 now. I'll post a pic tonight. I'm definitely doing L&L's Angel of Grace for my Christmas SAL next year. I'm pretty sure I sent you an email about the Christmas SAL - I'll check and if I didn't there'll be one from me today. I have the chart, but she's not kitted up yet. I'll be ready to start her as soon as the house is de-Christmassed - which will be Jan 1 2010.
