Come visit with me as I stitch and craft my way from one Christmas to the next - I like to have Christmas projects close by me all year. I have a particular fondness for Santas and Angels. If you have the time, leave a comment so I know you've visited.

HAED Christmas Dreams - my first page finish for 2017.

I brought HAED Christmas Dreams downstairs to my stitching nook last Thursday, and I have been working obsessively all week to get my 14th page stitched (page 47 in fact).  A few minutes ago the final stitches went in.  I am a happy girl!  I really want to get the next page stitched by the end of this month.  That will bring me back to where I was in September 2016 when I discovered that very stupid error I made which resulted in that horrid two weeks of unpicking two full pages of stitches.

This page took me just one week to stitch, which is a record for me. Some of the 10x10 blocks had as few as 6 different floss colours, and there were some stretches of solid colour across the blocks, so it was a much easier task than most of the HAED pages I have stitched so far.

So, Christmas Dreams with 14 of 66 pages completed (except for that one stitch of 754 that I have to stitch after my next floss buying trip):

And now for the 15th page (page 36) ... I hope to be back with a pic before the end of January (this January!)

Wow, that was quick for and HAED page finish. I'll keep my fingers crossed you get the next one in by the end of the month. :)

Good luck! I admire your dedication in restitching those two pages instead of just throwing the whole thing away as I would have been tempted to do. It's really looking good.

Congrats on getting back to where you were. That took dedication and it looks fantastic! Good luck meeting your end of the month goal too.

Looks SO good. And well done for going through all that frogging and restitching. The temptation to just chuck the whole thing must have been strong.

Elfie you are doing a wonderful job. I think we have all been there with the frogging and restitching and I like how you stuck it out. It's going to be great! I'm a new follower and look forward to seeing all of your stitches. Thanks for stopping by our blog today too. RJ @stitchingfriendsforever2
